A MUGA multi use games area is a sports court which is used for different sports. It can be a very cost effective solution for a primary school.
St Mary Magdelene Primary School, Peckham, London upgraded their playground with an artificial grass muga surface. The playground tarmac surface was soften with a polymeric shockpad and a covering layer of artificial turf. The new sports surface is ideal for many sports including football and tennis or just active games like capture the flag.
There are additional benefits in the way of safety for pupil whilst playing sports but also for other playground user by sectioning off a ball game area. Artificial grass muga can encourage the uptake of sporting activities.

ProPlay-Sport is designed as a sport technical layer for artificial turf sports fields. Next to the necessary sport technical characteristics, the product has additional (in-plane) drainage channels, which ensure an adequate drainage of water in case the artificial turf system is build on a watertight bottom. For a prompt installation, the ProPlay-Sport is supplied as interlocking panels, which are equipped with expansion slots.
